Hello
@GitDiscipline
, that's a good and hard question with no clear solution yet, which is why there is no info on this in the official docs!
You will find a lot of information on the
Streamlit forum
on this matter, as multiple users have tried out this (and some succeeded with PyInstaller):
https://discuss.streamlit.io/t/using-pyinstaller-or-similar-to-create-an-executable/902/
https://discuss.streamlit.io/t/how-to-most-easily-share-your-streamlit-app-locally/1751/
https://discuss.streamlit.io/t/streamlit-deployment-as-an-executable-file-exe-for-windows-macos-and-android/6812/
When we get a robust solution, we could add it into the documentation so feel free to try the solutions there and write the feedback on the forum topics so we begin to converge to a clear solution :) .
Cheers,
Fanilo 🎈
Hi
@GitDiscipline
!
As
@andfanilo
pointed out, this isn't something that's officially supported yet, so that's why there isn't any mention of it in the documentation. There is quite a bit of discussion on it in our community forums, though, so it's possible that one of the solutions suggested there will help.
I'm going to close as a duplicate of the existing, open issue in
@FHU-yezi
's comment since
#1370
was filed first and still looks to be quite active. Please feel free to add a thumbs-up + comment to the issue as continued interest in it from the community will make it more likely we are able to prioritize it going forward!
