王刚,江南大学食品学院教授、博士生导师,中国科学院生物物理研究所生物化学与分子生物学专业博士学位,英国Quadram Institute Bioscience访问学者。主要从事食品微生物学、食品营养与健康等方面的教学及研究工作。研究方向集中在肠道微生物与健康、功能性益生菌资源发掘、益生菌功能机制解析及益生菌产品开发。

近年来主持国家自然科学基金项目3项、军委科技委基础加强项目1项、江苏省“科技副总”项目1项,在权威期刊上发表第一作者研究论文16篇、通讯作者论文60余篇,h-index 32;获授权发明专利50余件(国际发明专利10件),并与拜耳(中国)、诺维信、无限极、上海光明等国际、国内知名企业开展了紧密的研发合作关系。与拜耳(中国)合作开发的产品在世博会上受到广泛关注,目前已服务超10万中国消费者。作为主要完成人获2014年中国商业联合会全国商业科技进步奖一等奖、2015年第十七届中国专利金奖和2018年教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖科学技术进步奖二等奖。入选2022年度无锡市百名科技之星。
