Starlink 星座计划是目前全球最具前瞻性和影响力的低轨宽带卫星互联网星座。随着 Starlink 星座部署规模扩大,其高频次的发射及批量卫星部署,多样化卫星宽带服务提供,全球终端用户的快速增长,以及对军事应用的潜在支持和增强能力等应用潜力也逐步显现。本文首先分析了 Starlink 的在轨运行现状,并将其互联网服务与其他卫星宽带服务提供商进行对比,然后重点研究了 Starlink 星间激光链路的应用特点及技术挑战,探讨了 Starlink 的军事应用现状及演化趋势,最后总结了 Starlink 的综合应用优势及面临的技术挑战,为我国卫星网络设计提供依据。总体而言,巨型 LEO 星座的建设及其应用不仅是卫星平台的实现,其涉及从卫星设计及工业化生产、发射能力支持、星座的运维、卫星组网、地面站配套等一系列的工业链能力集成。
Abstract:
Starlink, asatellite broadband constellation operated by SpaceX, is currently the most influential and promisingLEO (Low Earth Orbit) broadband satellite constellation. With the expansion of the constellation deployment, its high-frequency launch and batch deployment of satellites, provision of diversified satellite broadband services, rapid growth of global user terminals, as well as potential support and capabilityenhancing for military are manifesting gradually. In this paper, we first analyze the current status of Starlink's on-orbit operations, and compare its Internet services with other satellite broadband service providers. Then, weinvestigate the application characteristics and technical challenges of Starlink's inter-satellite laser links, and discuss Starlink's military application progress and the evolution trend.Finally we summarize the comprehensive application advantages Starlink offers, and technical challenges faced by Starlink, which can serve as a stepping stone for the design of our country's satellite network. Overall, the construction and application of a mega LEO constellation like Starlink involves thechain integration of a series of component, ranging from satellite design and industrialized production, satellite launch facilities, constellation operation and maintenance, satellite networking, toglobal ground station supporting, rather than just the satellite platforms.
