When trying to send email from Outlook to an Outlook account, knime gives the following error below. I tried to check the settings for a release for third-party applications as I saw a suggestion on a forum, but without success.
Does anyone know how to solve it?
Execute failed: This error occurred while communicating with the SMTP server: "javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 535 5.7.139 Authentication unsuccessful, the request did not meet the criteria to be authenticated successfully. Contact your administrator.
There are a couple of things you might try:
Making changes to auth settings on the Outlook side
Changing the host in the node settings
