couple months ago I started getting error 0x8007000e on both of my Microsoft accounts and I have tried trouble shooting it by resetting Microsoft store and redownloading the apps and even windows. It only happens on this device in the apps such as Microsoft Store or Xbox game pass app not when I log on through google. Is there any way I can retrieve the account because I do not want to rebuy all my games.

Hi Muhammad,

I have reviewed the issue, and from my understanding, Error 0x8007000e typically indicates a memory issue, often related to insufficient memory or resources. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem and potentially retrieve access to your Microsoft accounts without repurchasing your games:

  • Check for Windows Updates:
  • • Make sure your Windows installation is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any pending updates.

  • Clear Microsoft Store Cache:
  • • Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R.

    • Type wsreset.exe and hit Enter. This will clear the Microsoft Store cache.

  • Check Storage Space:
  • • Ensure that your device has enough free storage space. Go to Settings > System > Storage and check the available space.

  • Reset the Xbox App:
  • • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

    • Locate the Xbox app, click on it, and select Advanced options. From there, choose Reset.

  • Sign Out and Back In:
  • • Sign out of your Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store and Xbox app, then sign back in.

  • Check Microsoft Account Status:
  • • Visit the Microsoft Account webpage and ensure there are no issues with your account.

  • Use Windows PowerShell:
  • • Open PowerShell as an administrator (search for PowerShell in the Start menu, right-click, and select Run as administrator).

    • Run the following command to re-register the Microsoft Store:

    powershell

    Get-AppxPackage -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    • This command will reinstall and re-register all default Windows apps, including the Microsoft Store and Xbox apps.

Please let me know if any of these steps help or if you need further assistance!

    Best regards,

    Arvind
