冰岛雷克雅未克（2018年3月21日讯）— 亚洲开发银行（亚行）今日签署了2.5亿美元的贷款融资协议，旨在向冰岛极地绿色能源公司（极地绿色能源）和中石化绿源地热能开发有限公司（中石化绿源）提供贷款，帮助中华人民共和国（中国）扩大环境可持续的集中供暖服务。
燃煤供暖是中国（包括京津冀地区）空气污染的主要原因之一。地热集中供暖能够从地表下提取地热，并通过专用管网输送给居民或商户。这一替代方案具有可持续、稳定、比煤或天然气的成本效益高、零排放等优势，与现有供热管网相整合后可替代原有热源。
主管私营部门和联合融资业务的亚行副行长迪瓦卡·古普塔（Diwakar Gupta）表示：“这对亚洲来说是一个里程碑式的项目。地热集中供暖能为数百万市民提供安全稳定的热能，同时大幅降低空气污染和温室气体排放，并且减少对化石燃料的依赖。冰岛自身的能源系统体现了地热能的潜力，而我们今天与冰岛签署的合作将提供急需的能源解决方案，切实推动可持续发展。”
中石化绿源副董事长、极地绿色能源董事长兼创始人赫伊屈尔·哈德森（Haukur Hardarson）表示：“在21世纪，城市的供暖与制冷方案的选择决定着对抗大气污染和温室气体排放这场战役的成败。亚行的资金支持在为中国民众提供了急需的清洁供暖服务的同时，大大扩充了中石化绿源和极地绿色能源治理大气污染的实力。我们视亚行为长期战略合作伙伴，也期待与哈萨克斯坦等其他亚洲国家进行合作。”
中石化绿源董事长、中国石化新星石油有限责任公司副总经理刘世良表示：“此次与亚行携手将协助我们深化战略伙伴关系，通过地热资源的可持续性开发，治理大气雾霾减少温室气体排放。我们期待将成功的开发模式复制到亚洲其他国家。”
位于冰岛的极地绿色能源公司是全球领先的地热技术和能效项目的开发商和运营商。该公司的使命是向快速发展的亚洲国家输出冰岛在地热和其他可再生能源方面的专业知识。
中石化绿源地热能开发有限公司成立于2006年；在服务覆盖面积上已成为世界最大的地热集中供暖公司。该公司是极地绿色能源公司和中石化集团（即中国石油化工集团公司）新星石油有限责任公司的合资公司。
亚行总部设在菲律宾首都马尼拉，致力于通过包容性经济增长、环境可持续增长和区域一体化帮助亚太地区减少贫困。亚行成立于1966年，现有67个成员，其中48个来自亚太地区。
