Problem Note
56045:
The error "The given key was not present in the dictionary" occurs when you execute a SAS® stored process that contains a hidden prompt
In SAS
®
Enterprise Guide
®
, the following error can occur when you execute a SAS
®
stored process that contains a hidden prompt:
The given key was not present in the dictionary
This error occurs when you perform the following steps in which the prompt is in a group under a selection group:
Create a stored process. Then, in that stored process, do the following:
Create a selection group named SelGroup1.
Under SelGroup1, create a selection-dependent group named GroupA.
Under GroupA, create a hidden text prompt named Parm1. For this prompt, select the option Hide at runtime.
Under GroupA, create a visible text prompt named Parm2.
Using SAS Enterprise Guide, run the stored process. Then, in the user interface, select GroupA under SelGroup1.
At this point, if you click Show Details, the error message appears.
This problem occurs only when you run a stored process in SAS Enterprise Guide. It does not occur when you run a stored process via the SAS Stored Process Web Application or when you test the prompts using SAS® Management Console.
