I have a 27" 4.2 GHz 4 core 1-7 iMac witn Mojave 10.14.1, Radeon Pro 580 8192 MB.
I'm running DJI Launcher v2.1.0.3, Simulator 13.0.1.
Im running Windows 10 in VMware Fusion v11.0.2 Windows simulator.
My drone is a Mavic 2 Pro.
I'm gettiing an error when I start the simulator, that says I need "DX11 Feature level 10" to run the simulator. I was running the simulator successfully with Windows 7. I just installed Windows 10 today and this error message now appeares when I start the simulator.
One strange thing that happened with Windows 7... I selected free fly in the city, and when I changed views by clicking the RC's Stop Button, I saw a man (not a drone) with his back to me. When I pushed the Elevate stick he started walking. He'd walk faster as I pushed up, and turn right and left as I pushed the right stick. Strange.
Anyway, anyone know about this DX11 Feature level 10 thing, and how I can fix it? Many thanks.
I believe you just need to re-install or update DirectX on your Win 10 machine........I had a similar problem with mine......
Edit: Now that I read your post more carefully, the iMac with Win simulator may be a problem.......

I just installed DirectX11 in Windows 10. It seems to use Feature level 11, and the simulator Needs 10. How do I change the Feature level in the app?

Hi walttheartist, just to verify, do you refer to 64-bit Win10 PC? If yes, please kindly provide us with the screenshot of the error message, we'd like to check the exact status. For Windows 7, I'm afraid that the performance cannot be ensured, you may try to reinstall to see whether it helps, thank you!

I've just re-installed VMware's Fusion (Windows simulator), with Windows 10 , and it seems to work fine now. However, the Flight Simulator has some issues with the Mavic 2 drones.  The "Island flight" mode crashes, and the "free flight in the city" mode works but the simulator is slow and choppy, and the RC and flight simulator controls are not right. Only the RC sticks work properly.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. Double checked, do you refer to reinstall the Win 10 on your Mac, right? If yes, I'm afraid that the performance cannot be ensured, you may change to another PC with original genuine Win 10 to verify.

Have you thought about booting in Windows directly instead of the VMware? Maybe this will help. I used to do that when I run heave software like SPSS for example.

VMware Fusion is software that is installed on a Mac. It provides a PC/Windows environment on a MAC in order to run Windows software. For all practical purposes, you are actually running a Windows based computer.
I re-installed Fusion 11, which installed the Windows 10 package that I bought, at the same time. My Virtual Windows machine is working perfectly now.
I installed the DJI Simulator while I was in Windows. Hope this clears it up for you.

Thanks for the clarification, In this kind of situation, we're sorry that the stability cannot be ensured. If you want to run the Flight Simulator properly, I sincerely suggest you consider the above suggestion and change another PC.

I downloaded launcher but do not start downloading FS. This is after I downloaded with some success and have to delete from my computer. Manu attempts did not solve problem. Any suggestions?

I’m not sure what your problem is. If you install the Launcher v2.1.0.3, then you can install the Flight Simulator v1.3.0.0 from the Launcher’s window by clicking “INSTALL”.  The FS download is about 2.5 GB.
I stopped using the Flight Simulator because it was corrupting my Windows screen resolution, and it didn’t work very well with my Mavic 2 Pro. However, I’m on a Mac and using a Windows 10 virtual machine set up with VMware’s Fusion v11.
I was told by DJI that the problems I was having with the Flight simulator were probably a result of running the simulator in a virtual PC Windows machine instead of a real PC.
I’ve contacted VMware about this and they are very interested in locating the problem. They are getting a Mavic 2 Pro and the Flight Simulator in order to test out the hardware/software combo in their labs. I hope to hear back from them in the near future, and I will post their results on the Forum once it’s in.
If you are running the Simulator on a Mac with Fusion, I would discourage you from going any further. The simulator really does a nasty job on my Virtual machine’s graphics and creates other internal problems with my Windows environment. I’ve had to delete several virtual machines and start over several times. Not worth the problems I’ve had.
I did get the simulator to work in “Free flight” mode in the “City” and “Hangar” only, but the RC wasn’t working 100%.
Everything will work one day I’m sure, but by that time I’ll have learned how to fly the Mavic 2 Pro on my own and won’t need the simulator. Too bad, looked like fun. In lieu of DJI developing a Mac version of the simulator, this virtual machine approach is the most cost effective way for a Mac user to develope the skills needed to fly a Mavic 2.
