How to partner with us
The ICRC office in Dushanbe, together with the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) responds, through a wide range of humanitarian activities, to people’s needs resulting mainly from armed conflict and violence. In addition, our experts strengthen our partners’ multidisciplinary emergency preparedness and response skills. Based on our mandate, we also promote international humanitarian law (IHL) and universal humanitarian principles among armed and security forces and academic institutions.
The RCST is the ICRC’s main partner in Tajikistan. We work with it to strengthen its emergency response capacity and to carry out activities in the areas of first aid and psychological first aid, mine risk education and safe behaviour, restoring family links, and raising awareness of IHL and of the mandate and principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
