structuralism/case study Aldo Van Eyck 简介 1955年范艾克设计了阿姆斯特丹孤儿院.这一作品综合了他直到20世纪50年代中期之前的思想.包括柯布的乡土思想.荷兰风格派、米罗、布朗库西、克利等艺术家的思想和眼镜蛇艺术团体成员康斯坦特的自由、游戏.灵活变化的思想.以及北非民居的特征。建筑采用3.36m见方的基本模数体块.重复组织.局部两层.间以庭院。内部由两条曲折的街道引导.偶有几级踏步模仿室外。在统一秩序中.范艾克又组织了平面的变化.一些元素的尺寸被缩放以适应不同年纪的孩子。最终建筑是开放的.暗示未来的发展和内容的转变。这种在严谨而又灵活的模度系统控制下的设计。以及对间隙空间、水平向秩序、开放变化、多中心、复杂性的关注.带来了新的设计方法。 Case study

structuralism/case study Aldo Van Eyck “数量美学” 结构主义建筑具有一种反大体块的形式特征。正如赫兹伯格所说:“事物的增大只能是许多自身很小的单元的复合,并且由于总是把事物做得太大、太空,就会产生一种冷漠和不可接触的距离感,这样,建筑师便首先制造了疏远和不友好的效果。”阿姆斯特丹孤儿院的用大量重复单体构成的形式正是对凡·艾克的“数量美学”理论的发挥。结构主义建筑这种单元性以及在生长结构中的连贯性使建筑方案具有浑然一体效果,表达了个体与整体两者融合的思想。 Case study

structuralism/case study Aldo Van Eyck 整体性 在我们社会化进程加速的今天,大量“多元”与复古风格的建筑剧增。如今这种沉迷于表面风格变化的“制作”行为似乎与早期现代建筑千篇一律的风格相反,我们今天的困境是由于太多的风格和形式所带来的意义表达上的混乱。造成对人性与环境的忽视。尤其是我们的一部分建筑曲解了传统文化与国外现代建筑的借鉴意义,转向纯形式的抄袭与拼贴。更有一部分建筑唯我独尊,忽视与原有建筑和环境的协调,造成了城市中的零乱面貌。 基于此,阿姆斯特丹孤儿院是对探索建筑以及城市设计中整体与部分之间的二元对立关系的实验,力图使我们的建筑和城市具有一种秩序化、简晰化的整体性。 Case study
structuralism/case study Aldo Van Eyck 人文关怀 范艾克主张的结构主义并不是单纯的形式操作,它的真正目标是实现建筑设计中形式与人文关怀的内在统一。这才是建筑形式与意义的真正和终极追求。结构主义建筑从建立整体性的秩序出发进而最终表达对人性的关怀与尊重,因而与其说结构主义建筑是对早期功能主义的批判而产生的,不如说是一次对建筑作为表达人类自身存在与发展的意义的探求。 阿姆斯特丹孤儿院这种鼓励内部及外部可加性的开放形式使空间组织呈现一种有机形态,如同乡土聚落一样,造成极佳的亲切感,在外表保持整体的情况下,考虑了人文关怀。 Case study
