The NYU MusEDLab has partnered with NYU Shanghai’s
Program of Creativity and Innovation
(PCI).
As one of the major academic labs that PCI is co-developing in China, MusEDLab’s work in Shanghai focuses on testing collaborative design-based research methodology as well as localizing the lab's current designs. We will conduct co-design sessions with NYU Shanghai students and faculty as well as creative local educators, artists, members of cultural and educational institutions and industry partners who are interested in music, technology and education.
NYU MusEDLab and PCI are aiming to shape the future of cross-disciplinary education through leveraging technologies to lower the barrier to creative expression and using music as a tool to catalyze the development of STEAM education.
