You are required to apply for an entry visa to Singapore if you are holding a passport from a visa-required country. A Letter of Introduction for Visa Application (LOI) will be sent to you via email after payment for the program has been made to TGC. Please note that you are required to pay the application fee for the visa as imposed by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore.
What is the current situation of COVID-19 in Singapore?
The Covid-19 pandemic has ended in Singapore. From February 13th 2023, mask-wearing on public transport will no longer be required under the temporary COVID-19 regulations. Use of TraceTogether and SafeEntry is no longer required as of February 13. And non-fully vaccinated Short Term Visitors will no longer be required to purchase COVID-19 travel insurance.
Currently, travellers may enter Singapore without testing or quarantine. But those aged 13 and above must show proof that at least two weeks before arrival here, they had received the minimum dosage of Covid-19 vaccines under the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) emergency use list.The minimum dosage would include at least two doses of the AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines, or a mixture of these jabs. Under current rules, those who do not meet these requirements are not considered to be fully vaccinated and must meet additional requirements, such as pre-departure testing, before they can enter Singapore.
What is the plan to handle risks when participating in a summer camp in Singapore?
The Global Citizen strictly follows the Risk Assessment Management System of the Singapore Ministry of Education in planning and organizing any activities during the Singapore Summer Camp 2023. Code of Conduct and Risk Management Guidelines and safety will be provided to faculty/instructors, staff and participating students.
In the event that a student is unable to participate in one or more program activities due to personal reasons, will the student get a refund for that activity?
In case students are unable to participate in program activities due to personal reasons, TGC will have to arrange personnel to manage to ensure the safety of students. In addition, costs for program activities have been paid to providers prior to summer camp, so no refunds will be given to students.
