My machine is running Linux Mint 18 Sarah 64 bits, the processor is a Xeon 8 core with 32G of RAM, the Video card is a Nvidia 960.
I already tried with and without the GPU features enable, the result is the same.
The release 1608 run perfectly, … almost :o)

If anybody have an idea ?

still having this problem (but it also adds “(core dumped)” after “Floating point exception” ) with Shotcut 17.06.01 on Ubuntu 16.04, only with Unity, XFCE and LXDE sessions , on KDE session it works fine…
(didn’t try GNOME or others DEs because i don’t have them installed)
