PHILADELPHIA SOLAR M72 (HC) SHOWS AN OUTSTANDING POWER THERMAL COEFFICIENT.
Philadelphia Solar, as the first Solar PV manufacturer in MENA region, Its keen to constantly develop the quality and performance of its product. In order to validate the performance of its 166- mm M72 (HC) under high temperatures, PHS carried out a thermal coefficient test at
KIWA Laboratory
according to IEC 2-61215 – IEC 1-1-61215.
Temperature is one of the challenging factors that affect the conversion performance of photovoltaic modules. This impact is reflected through temperature coefficient that estimates the relative efficiency loss for every degree Celsius a module operates above standard test conditions (STC), i.e., 25 °C. As low as the power thermal coefficient as better as the module performs under high temperature.
M72(HC) has shown a value that hits a bottom at -0.295%. knowing that the common average value among this type of module is -0.35% as shown in below table; comparing PHS module with other manufacturers that produce same model type.
M72(HC) has shown a value that hits a bottom at -0.295%. knowing that the common average value among this type of module is -0.35% as shown in below table; comparing PHS module with other manufacturers that produce same model type.
The selectively designed M72(HC) has shown a value which is observably lower than any other manufactures by 18%.
M72(HC) adopts smooth soldering technology resulting in a soft connection between cells. Cells are P-type gallium doped with intrinsic features that guaranteed a good performance within high temperature.
The precisely selected raw materials play a key role in module performance. PHS eagers to design and select its raw material in a way that guarantees a great operation over the years of installation. Moreover, PHS applies strict quality criteria to eliminate any possible causes that might affect module functionality.
In order to maintain an outstanding performance of PHS modules, PHS recommends its clients to carefully follow the instructions in installation manual.
