It gives access to All-wheel steering solution
Electric or hydraulic disengage of electrohydraulic steering e.g. auto guidance (GPS)
Steering pressure up to 280 bar
Flow capacity up to 70 l/min
Operators
Superior steering performance and safety with precise handling and control under all conditions
Increased productivity with auto guidance (GPS) steering, variable steering ratio (quick steering) and all-wheel steering
Improved operator comfort with joystick and electric steering wheel
Reduced noise and heat in cabin
Farmer's farewell to fatigue
FENDT launched the first combine harvester equipped with IDEALDrive – a machine you steer with a joystick, not a traditional steering wheel.
Improving operator comfort and productivity
With more commercially available steering input options, including mini-wheels and joysticks, it was trendy to switch to a new method. We had multiple discussions with our customers about steering solutions that were very much driven by the current trend. Ergonomic benefits of joystick steering, for example, were implied, but we couldn’t prove anything.
Electro-hydraulic steering valve used with mechanical steering wheel. Certified - SIL 2 fail safe. Applications with quick steering and auto-guidance (GPS). Interface to joystick and electric steering wheel.
Electro-hydraulic steering valve used for steer-by-wire systems requiring high flow rates. Certified - SIL 2 fail safe. Applications with quick steering and auto-guidance (GPS). Interface to joystick and electric steering wheel.
e-Wheel 100
Electric steering wheel input device with passive force-feedback used for steer-by-wire systems. Certified - SIL 2 fail safe. Improving operator comfort and ergonomics. Variable steering ratio and smooth steering feel.
SASA sensors
Steering wheel sensor is used to detect the absolute position and speed of a mechanical steering wheel. Used in applications with variable steering ratio and closed loop set-ups where steering wheel position and vehicle steering angle have to match.
Space is limited on construction sites, and there are people working everywhere.
Contractors need machines that can safely maneuver in a tight spot. At the same time they still need to be powerful enough to get the job done
. At Danfoss, we deliver the components, software, and controls that enable your machines to run safely, efficiently and effectively.
All-wheel steering is one example of how Danfoss is at the forefront of machine versatility. This helps customers getting the most out of their equipment. Electrohydraulic steering system enables operators to manually adjust the steering mode, allowing them to best match machine performance to the task at hand.
