Through membership in the only global body representing the landscape architecture profession, CLARB will have the opportunity to share and exchange ideas with colleagues throughout the five IFLA regions and contribute to IFLA’s efforts to advance recognition of the profession around the world. As the first corporate member, CLARB paves the way for other landscape architecture organizations, university programs and private practices to collaborate with IFLA’s member associations through education, training, research and professional practice.
“The opportunity to engage with our global colleagues and support IFLA’s work demonstrates CLARB’s commitment to a unified, elevated landscape architecture profession worldwide,” says CLARB past president
Carisa McMullen.
“We are proud to join IFLA as its first corporate member and look forward to advancing the global conversation about landscape architecture.”
IFLA currently represents 80 national associations from Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Its members work to create globally sustainable and balanced living environments for the benefit of humanity worldwide.
“In unity, we find strength. We’re very pleased to welcome CLARB as our first corporate member to the IFLA family,” says
Bruno Marques,
president of IFLA. “This paves the way for a global alliance of landscape architects, illustrating that together, we can shape a more beautiful and sustainable world.”
