Refreshing has started to fail for a query after previously working. The error message in power query is:
DataSource.Error: MySQL: Fatal error encountered during data read.
Details:
DataSourceKind=MySql
DataSourcePath=[server name];[database name]
Message=Fatal error encountered during data read.
ErrorCode=-2147467259
This only happens if the table is merged with another table from the same database. Each on their own work fine, and removing the merge allows the refresh.
The Edit Permissions page for the database is set to Organizational, and the Encrypted connection is unselected. There are also 10 Native Queries for the source if that is relevant.
Does anyone have insight into what might be causing the issue, or should I focus on a work around?
Thank you so much!
Hi, @Anonymous
You can check the similar solved case:
Solved: OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] MySQL: Fa... - Microsoft Power BI Community
This is a solution:
Clearing all data source permissions (File-->Options and Settings --> Data Source Settings --> clear each data source permission). Hope it helps.
