What are the advantages of a Starlink business antenna?
The larger Starlink business antenna expands the field of view from 110 degrees (residential) to 140 degrees. This significantly increases service availability on our high-performance service (Enterprise) to around 4 times greater than before.
The satellite business antenna enhances GPS functionality, improving satellite visibility by approximately 35%. It’s also highly durable, with IP56 protection capable of, for example, preserving it from high-pressure water jets. The residential antenna employs IP54, which provides protection against limited dust.
There are also notable enhancements in heat management. At temperatures exceeding 35°C, the business antenna can deliver speeds three times faster. The heat management system also facilitates 1.7 times quicker snowmelt.
Starlink Business Plans are granted higher priority traffic than Residential Plans. The business service is more stable, with fewer drops, while keeping the same consistent average latency.
Download speeds are in the range of 100 to 350 Mbps, and upload speeds range from 10 to 50 Mbps. Business antennas achieve higher overall download speeds while maintaining upload speeds and latency.
The combination of high-performance antennas and Venn’s managed services is a game-changer for operations involving multiple users and sites requiring high availability.

Can I buy Starlink equipment without any additional services from Venn?
The minimum additional Starlink service Venn offers is our "Enhanced remote access" package. This provides you with enhanced device support, visibility, and notifications.
It replaces Starlink's simple Wi-Fi router with an enterprise-grade alternative, providing full out-of-band management over cellular networks.
