I have no sound in the browser using the ui interface. I have no idea why with the most of my episodes (mkv - h264 - 720p / 1080p) it's like that :/
I'm using a docker, I don't know if that change something or not .... I did a pull just before this log to be sure to be up to date
Under all browsers, tried with Ubuntu and Windows. Just some mkv can be read with edge but 10% works for every browsers. 5% in more can be read by Edge only ...
Do you need some logs ? I tried with one mkv without any sound. I had only this for the moment :/

Indeed, it was that but It's a little bit confusing in french => The second line "Allow audio playback that requires transcoding" sould be translated in "Permettre la lecture audio nécessitant un transcodage" instead of "
Autoriser la lecture de musique nécessitant un transcodage".
When you said "Musique" / "Music", I believed it was for the music library, not the audio

weirdly it is 2020 now and I am seeing the same... 1 hour ago i got some updates on my ubuntu system and now... now audio from emby... youtube and everything else is fine... but not emby. (by the way no updates to emby occurred) it is still working fine on my nvidia shield so not the end of the world. but I need to figure out what caused it

Yeah I would love to do that but it suddenly just started working. I restarted the server several times and who knows.... it started working on the 4th or 5th restart
