According to Intel's product description website the memory requirement of the i9-11900K or KF is DDR4-3200. So what does that mean? Does that indicate that the Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18, SKU CMW32GX4M4D3600C18, Intel XMP only certified which I have ordered on Corsair.com and will be delivered next week, will be unable to overclock and be stable at the 3600MHz XMP profile?
Should I have ordered the Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16, SKU CMW32GX4M4C3200C16 as the Vengeance Pro RAM optimized for Intel XMP? Is this what this processor needs?
Currently I am running Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory SKU CMW64GX4M2D3000C16 which was listed as compatible with my motherboard on a part picking site, but even though it is rated to overclock to 3000MHZ with the XMP profile it won't run windows for more than a few seconds without crashing. It just runs stable at 2133MHz, the standard.
Is there anyone there that knows which Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO RAM I ought to use with this CPU? Thanks.
it means the default speed of the memory controller is 3200.
anything beyond that is technically an overclock, XMP being an overclock too.
The CPU works easily with faster memory. as an example i use 3600 memory with a 10900k which has a default memory frequency of 2933.
Corsair basically certifies that the Intel version of their sticks has been tuned to work with Intel processors of that motherboard, and tested to work.
Remember that part picking sites may just say it's compatible because it's DDR4, and the motherboard is DDR4 :) the specification you should look at is the memory QVL list for your motherboard. You can find it on the Gygabyte website (Memory support list):

When you install a new kit, it's a good idea to reset your bios to default to be sure all teh old memory timings are reset, and the new memory XMP profile is applied correctly.
Thank you so much for that information. You have really eased my mind. The RAM that FedEx's website said would arrive Monday, in 4 days just last night, actually arrived at my door just 10 minutes ago. When I chose this latest RAM, the VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18, SKU CMW32GX4M4D3600C18 I chose it from the Gigabyte QVL of this MB. I also had several exchanges with the Gigabyte support staff about choosing the RAM but they basically told me that their QVL was for "reference only" and they could not make any guarantees. So that didn't help.
I also used the Corsair compatibility tester which indicated that the VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16, SKU CMW32GX4M4C3200C16 would be the right choice, however I had conversations with Corsair's support and was advised to defer to the Gigabyte QVL. Since that 3200MHz did not appear on the Gigabyte QVL, I chose the 3600MHz module.

According to a highly technical review site, I don't know if I am allowed to mention the name on this BB site the i7 and i9 11 gen CPUs default to gear 1 and the auto mode of most Z590 MBs defer to that. But I will check. I don't know what MIO and SA voltages are but I will look around and see if I can find them and check the settings although I know just enough to be dangerous so I won't touch them.
