We are using OpenJDK in Ubuntu. While resizing the image with Magnolia Imaging module, we are facing
[i]Invalid argument to native writeImage when trying to write image to file[/i]
When googling, we got this issue http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7044758
We are now forced to move to Sun JDK. has anyone faced this issue earlier?

Hi Saravanan,
I can't say I have seen your bug before.
But we stopped using OpenJDK (under Redhat) in combination with magnolia after seeing serious stability issues (spurious segfaults). Based on our experience, I would recommend using Oracle's JDK in any case. (I will admit that those tests are now more than 1 year ago, so it may be OpenJDK has improved since then.)
