Capybara
(Map No. 12)
Capybaras are the largest rodents in the world, and their massive incisors are designed for cutting through grass stems. These semi-aquatic creatures are good runners and swimmers, they not only bathe in the water, but also dive into the water to escape from predators. Don't underestimate their running abilities, even though their bodies look quite heavy, Capybaras can definitely keep up with humans when they are determined.
Serval
(Map No. 20)
Servals walk gracefully with their long legs, they also have markings similar to cheetahs, which adds to their captivating charm. Like all felines, they look a bit lazy and enjoy sunbathing and rolling on their backs, sometimes even showing adorable silliness like house cats. However, when it comes to prey and food, their eyes are filled with a fierce and determined gaze.
Fennec Fox
(Map No. 20)
The distinctive features of Fennec foxes are their large ears and fox-like tails. They become active after 4 p.m. each day. You'll see these mischievous fox pups start chasing each other playfully after dusk, while they curl up in gourps and sleep during the daytime. Despite their small size, they are incredibly fast runners and can effortlessly leap over any obstacles.
African Penguin
(Map No. 48)
African Penguins are from southwestern Africa, which has a similar climate to Taiwan. To combat the heat, African Penguins have developed a unique adaptation with pink patches of skin above their eyes and around the eye area, which serves as a cooling mechanism. Upon closer observation, you can notice several black spots on their chest and abdomen. These spots are unique to each individual, similar to human fingerprints.
Giraffe
(Map No. 52)
Giraffes can reach an average height of over 4 meters. If you are a giraffe lover, don’t miss out on the opportunity below. Around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, you can see a keeper carrying a branch of Mulberry leaves(or other plants) and placing it on the fence. The high-hanging leaves are their favorite snack, you'll see giraffes extending necks, rolling tongues and chewing slowly like watching slow-motion films. Their most enjoyable moment would be your unforgetful one as well.
