High Sierra 10.13.6
I was wondering if anyone else is having this specific Wineskin Winery problem:
1) + to add engine
2) select engine (any)
3) press Download and Install
4) press OK
5) the progress bar fills
6) engine not on list and not installed (no error messages)
It seems that Wineskin Winery just doesn''t download and install ANY engines. I only started experiencing this recently, but I haven''t used Porting Kit in a few months. Obviously this affects my ability to use Porting Kit and Winetricks. High Sierra 10.13.6

The issues your having with Winery and also Wineskin don''t affect PortingKit VitorMM works around the issues, PortingKit can still create and launch Wrappers just fine. When trying to follow the winetricks fix, this is my error:

Looks like that''s your problem right there, no idea why you don''t have permission to make a folder in /tmp/
PortingKit is not the problem here, the wrapper is not getting created since wineserver can''t make its folder within /tmp/.
Usually rebooting should clean out /tmp/
The official Wineskin Winery won''t function on High Sierra without editing the master wrapper, PortingKit handles that already, however if still want a functional version of Winery grab mine from here
Also PortingKit has an option to also make use of the master wrapper that my Winery provides its enabled via a checkbox under Preferences.
Please note;
I only offer wine builds from Winehq for direct download bar the few WineCX compiles I offer, WineCX64Bit may have unforeseen issues other then the known regedit crashing and not supporting the SteamOverlay (It''s disabled by default on my Fork anyway)

Seems it''s a permissions issue in /tmp/ not really a winetricks issue here
