I have just stayed at the new Ibis Hotel and Gatwick and it was such a peaceful experience. The new decor is really light and playful. My checking was smooth and friendly, and the assistance I received from the manager helping with my huge suitcase was do appreciated.
The room had so many perfect features including a big comfy bed, excellent tv with natural color and apparent block out blind on the window.
The hotel is located on a really quiet side road so you can’t believe how quiet it is night because you hear neither cars nor airplane.
I had half board which was filling & delicious.
Loved the staff and I will for sure stay again before or after my flights from London.
A fantastic experience and far better than expected. Ibis is not a name I associate with my travel choices. However, upon arrival I meet a fab lady who checked myself and my colleague in. The room was small but contained everything I could ask for. We later went to the restaurant for drinks and food. We were very surprised to find it extremely busy. We later discovered that Gatwick was in panic mode. The team handled it very well. Calm, quick and efficient. I want to mention Anna, who's service on the bar was brilliant, Bee who was everywhere and virtually mentioned TripAdvisor every time I saw her , I asked his name and was told Neil, and the same lady who had checked me in. I will most definitely be booking a room myself when the need arises.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport, this is a gorgeous hotel with lovely staff. Bee, Gihan and Hope couldn't do enough for us and were so accomodating. Delicious food and drinks with a friendly atmosphere. Can't fault it, definitely recommend.

Lovely room beds & bedding nice & clean the hotel has had a refurb looks lovely now,stayed for one night food good.Was nice they had a vegetarian option for dinner. Everyone very helpful & friendly too. Nice big TV in our room,bathroom lovely & clean.

Welcoming or friendly. Theyforgot to tell us at booking that to park your car overnight it’s an extra 25.00 !! Cooked Breakfast was un edable , absolutely disgusting ! Would definitely not stay there again in
